We are drawing to the close of the Ouse Muse season for 2013/14 but there is one last chance to join us – for a special Australian celebration – on the 19th (8pm, Harpur’s, MK40 2RD). Over on the Ouse Muse page (under the events tab in the headline navigation) you will find the emerging details of our 2014/15 season, with a range of exciting guest poets already confirmed.
In June there are a couple of one-off poetry events in Bedford to mention. I’m performing at the Big High Street Festival on the 14th June, Chayo Chingonyi is visiting Bedford Library for refugee week on the evening of 16th June (tickets £1 from the Library) and on the 29th June a range of poets will be reading at the Eagle Bookshop as part of the Castle Street Festival. Meanwhile evergreen activities like the poetry cafe (last Friday of the month in Frescoes) continue to gather momentum.
If you want to keep in touch with these or poetry events in the Bedford area join the Ouse Muse Facebook group and sign up for the Muse News mailing list.
